ABOUT

The Heritage Film Festival is a community-based, volunteer-driven event that brings together short films of all genres from novice and seasoned filmmakers to celebrate independent media.

This year's Festival is November 23 -  December 20, 2023. There are over 30 short films from around the world covering a wide range of genres. These films are free to the public and can be viewed online through our virtual screening platform.

On November 5, 2023, there was a one-day in person screening at the Rhizome DC, a  community arts space in the Tacoma Park area of Washington D.C.

Audience members were encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for donation to a local food pantry.
